The Queen City Beard and Moustache Federation will kick off our Give Ozarks campaign on April 16 at 5pm at 319 Event Center. This annual facial hair competition is looking to raise $20k to provide match funds for the one day online fundraiser on May 3.

We are excited to announce Drury University kicked off their partnership with Springfield Community Gardens on Saturday. In addition to volunteer support, they are providing shared use of their greenhouse that was built in 2003.

Springfield Community Gardens is celebrating the ground-breaking of Tom Watkins Community Farm–the first organic, educational community farm in Springfield. Grant Beach Community Garden (GBCG) is expanding! We have two expansions to announce. The GBCG will have one more city lot to the west to define the outer bounds of the main garden and add a mulch walkway to Hovey St. The second expansion is an auxiliary project, Fairbanks Neighborhood Garden.
