Have you ever found yourself wondering about the ins and outs of honey bees?
Join SCG with Bruce Snavely, an avid local beekeeper of 17 years. Bruce has served as former president and board member of the Beekeeping Association of the Ozarks and Program Chair of the Missouri State Beekeepers Association. He continues to study honey bee and pollinator biology and loves to share what he has learned. Convoy of Hope’s Center for Agriculture & Food Security (CAFS) and SCG have partnered to provide an informative session on beekeeping on March 21st, 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
This session will be an introduction to apiculture, the science and art of managing honey bees. It will also review the importance of honey bees and other pollinators and how they greatly benefit the annual plant life cycle.
You may attend this workshop virtually or in person live at the Convoy of Hope Global Training Headquarters (1 Convoy Drive, Springfield, MO, 65802). Space is limited to the first 75 attendees. Or you may join us virtually by registering via Zoom at https://convoyofhope.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_xnIE6sgvSNeZp_c6FmYfyA
