Join MU Extension Horticulture Field Specialist and Food Safety trainer Patrick Byers for a free, in-person training on “Seed Saving” at Amanda Belle’s Farm at CoxHealth.
Seed Saving is a practice that has been used for millennia as a way of preserving varieties and ensuring adequate supply of seeds for production. This workshop will cover the different ways of saving specialty crop seeds while utilizing the newly outfitted propagation house at Amanda Belle’s Farm.
No registration is necessary for this in person event, however selecting 'Going' on the Facebook event is helpful for planning purposes. Please be sure to bring a water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and bug repellent if you desire.
