Meador Community Garden

The Meador Community Garden was created as a collaborative effort between SCG, Springfield-Greene County Health Department, the Springfield-Greene County Park Board and Mercy Hospital in 2015. Volunteers share in the harvest and extra produce is donated to local food pantries throughout each growing season. The Meador Community Garden also saves seeds to donate to the Heirloom Seed Library. Volunteers receive hands-on experience and gain knowledge in tending to a garden from start to finish using organic growing techniques. The garden is located in Ray Kelly Park.
